Just picked up a 12 speed raliegh team bannana racing bike , reynolds tubing for FREE !!
yes it needs a lot of work i think pretty much new tyres, inner tubes, brakes , handlebar, brake levers , gears , rear mech , shifters ( still friction shifters ) in fact i think only the frame is any good
Only trouble is i have literally no cash to do it up due to being on short time anyone got any parts i can have ?

Cool. My LBS owner was given something similair for free. It had some old (but good) Shimano groupset on it, Mavic wheels, which were perfectly true, and the owner was about to put the thing in the skip.
I helped him clean it up, and he sold it for something like £100

On closer inspection looks like only the frame is worth saving pity as with the way work is atm i cant afford to even buy new tyres let alone replace components .
Not sure what to do sell the frame maybe, pity as i really wanted to do it up as a commuterFCN 3/5/90
