I'll be cycling 100 miles of nowhere tomorrow, to help fatty raise some money for the LAF.

Is anyone else doing this? if so, good luck!

This got me thinking, where is the most boring place in the U.K that people have cycled to or through ?

    Nuneaton.

The road in from Wolvey is bumpsville, and what used to be the town centre through-route has been pedestrianised. It's a mess, but if you want a few dozen charity shops, a wilko's DIY, or a Gregg's sandwich outlet that's your place.

Mind - the run out through Camp Hill down towards Dobbies Garden Centre is a nice descent, speeds of 43+mph are readily attainable there. The better option though is to turn round in the town centre and head for GOC - God's own county - Leicestershire, right next door just over the A5 and quite marvellous in all respects.

ouff I have happy memories of Nuneaton.
I was at JLRA Bramcote for a while and the local girls were 'friendly' ;)
