You know you have a very serious problem when you pull a piece of broken glass out of your heel, and your first thought is:

“Damn it! That’s def gonna be a puncture.”

…and then you find yourself idly wondering where the repair kit is, if you have any of the small patches left, and if the red stuff will stop the vulcanising solution from working properly…

    There's an article on The Straight Dope about this. Seems it's true, as far as stopping bleeding goes, but not so much gluing holes closed.

    Used to use it for gluing split finger tips when rock climbing. You had to sand the end of your finger afterwards though to get more friction :D

    It's true, superglue was originally developed as a battlefield wound repair agent. Its household gluing properties (massively overexaggerated BTW) came later...
    Litespeed Tuscany, Hope/Open Pro, Ultegra, pulling an Extrawheel trailer, often as not.
