Veggie Elbow sizing info question

Dear all,
I am looking to buy some veggie-elbow guards online, and have a little query about how the sizing information works..........
six six one say the following:
http://www.sixsixone.com/Information_CyclingSizing.aspx
Top opening = 32cm
Bot opening = 30cm
I would presume that top opening refers to just below the bicep, and bottom opening at the top of the forearm, but, if that's the case then my proportions are the wrong way around as i measure:
bottom of bicep = 28cm
top of forearm = 30cm
so do six six one label their measurements presuming a person stands with his arms in the air, or am i freak in being the only person whose forearms are wider than the bottom of my bicep?
any other tips on veggie-elbow sizing?
many thanks

The top strap goes quite far up past the elbow, so not quite round the widest part of the upper arm but not at the narrow part either.Uncompromising extremist0
