Just saw this on STW...

Not seen any user reviews, and I don't need a light just now so I'll not be testing them, but if this lives up to its promise then it'll be phenomenal... The P7 torches are so much better than most "proper" bike lights but a lot of people don't like the fitment and the short burn time, so here's the fix maybe.
Put it a different way... If these perform as well as they should, then buying pretty much any other light just became a symptom of madness
It could be that there are better lights by the time autumn rolls round of course.

This looks good. Bigger battery pack, regulated supply: may not supply any more lumens (though basic number crunching suggests it would over a standard direct driven P7) - takes the DIY aspect off the packs.
Glad they have seen the market hols and filled it. Excellent.0 -
DIY battery pack dude is probably slightly annoyed, mindUncompromising extremist0

Excellent, about time something like this showed up, although this will upset many retailers out there.
Meh sod em.The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
