Nope, completely wrong. You get your punishment when you're sentenced. He wasn't resisting arrest because he was unconscious. Those cops should be fired for being out of control, should also send a message to other cowboy cops out there, if you can't stay in control - find another job.

tbh, I didn't read the post title, I just clicked and read. And I'd still say the same thing at some point in a thread like this, so I might as well say it early doors.

Everyone's quick to point the finger at the much maligned American police, how do you know they weren't merely attempting to resuscitate him, with there batons?

You should never overplay sarcasm it never works.

Be interesting to find out how long suspension with pay lasts for, probably the length of an investigation. Lookin' like you'd have to blatantly kill or maim to lose your job.

No, trust me, it doesn't. Ask any comedian, you never beat your audient over the head - leave them wanting more, you'll learn. ;)

Now it's getting complicated, as someone once said "dying is easy, comedy is difficult". I'll leave it to the pro's.

I'm not sure I can condone the beating, but he did try to run their mate over.

And he wasn't wearing a seatbelt

Am I the only one who thinks when he *flew* out the window, he was supremely lucky not to be torn in two!!

    Jeeeeez!!!

Anyway, I can't condone what the police officers did, but I sure as hell don't blame them. He tried to kill one of their mates FFS!!

Wouldn't any of you be a little annoyed had you been in the same situation!

And anyway, serves him right for A) Being a dick, B) Not wearing a speed limit
