Hi
I seem to be the same as all other newbie's
Not done any serious mtb for years apart from getting my old Saracen Terratrax out for work again well for the past month, only a short distance.
I have just ordered a Specialized Rockhopper Comp (after alot of searching) hope to get it next week, i hope i have made a good choice !
Can anyone offer good advice on how to start again i have just turned 48 5' 6" and weigh in at 13 st 11lb although my ride to work is short my thighs burn like hell i go as fast as i can Can i expect this to carry on for long ?
Thanks in advance

1. Get out and ride. The more you do the easier it gets.
2. Don't do too much too soon (and put yourself off)
3. Have fun.
