Loss of Chris Horner - How much will it hurt Levi?
Chris Horner's out of the Giro with injuries

Given that up till his injury, he was the only Astana guy always protecting Levi (without fail), how much does this hurt Levi's chances? He really needs protection in the mountains and it's not clear if Lance is up to the task. Same with Popo. Not good for Leipheimer.
I hope Horner gets better soon. He seems like one of the good guys in cycling. (and certainly one of most articulate, interesting and best writers)

Have to say LA doesn't seem to be helping Levi's chances much. I know he led the decent yesterday but that seemed more about looking after himself and staying out of trouble.
Only Horner has been really staying with Levi on the climbs, all other Astana riders crowding round Armstrong when he starts to get droped. Guess they all know where their next pay check will be coming from.
If Levi does win this its going to be intresting in TdF.0
