Decent balance bike under 50 notes.

After a balance bike for my soon-to-be 2yr old son. All the nice ones are upwards of 80 notes which is a disgrace for what amounts to about 5% of a complete adults bicycle.
Anyone got any tips on good, but not rip-off balance bikes?

You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.

Get smallest "pavement" bike which will fit him, take off pedals and cranks, make sure he can reach ground comfortably, then let him "walk" it, either pushing with alternate feet or both feet at once, until he can go some distance under control with his feet off the ground.
