Hello
am off to scotland to ride the 7 Stanes (or as many as i can fit in in five days!) in a couple of weeks. I have recently bought a Lapierre Spicy, which came with Mountain King tyres. I've ridden a few trails on them - W2 at Afan, the Gorlech and Raven trails at Brechfa, and some local rides - and they seem really slippy, both in the wet and the dry, when going over rocks. So any suggestions what to replace them with before i go to Scotland? I need to get it right as i'm going to be riding alone and i dont want any nasty crashes!
Thanks

Panaracer Cinders for me, I ride most of the 7 stanes regularly and I'm not technically gifted but they have taken me up a notch over the sketchy stuff. I was trying to go flat out on the red at Glentress on my Stumpjumper FSR one day and some guy on a fairly nondescript hardtail was right behind me cornering like he was on rails, much faster than me on the non cambered berms. I chatted with him at a stop and found he was on Cinders, bought a pair the next week and never looked back.0
