Okay, not looking for justification here, just curious. Nothing wrong with my Specialized lid, nor current shoes but... I just fancy a change. Love the new 2009 Spec blue and white Elite shoes and fancy a Giro helmet. Anyone else have trouble justifying a £230 purchase when your current kit does the job admirably?

You need 2 lids & 2 pairs of shoes.

What if you go out in the morning, get very wet, then get the chance of a lovely sunny afternoon ride?

Personally if I'm happy with the kit I won't replace it.
