which bike?

i,m new to mountian biking and i own the chris boardman hard tail .As ive now got the bug im thinking off buying the boardman team .Ihave only got £1000 cycle to work voucher, are there any better full suss bikes for that money, any advice would be gratefully received : :)

    Last couple of months MTBUK mag has had reviews of £1K full sussers (although the Boradman wasn't one of them) read up, not sure if they are on the site here yet.

    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    You would get a better and lighter XC hardtail for 1k. A full susser at that price is likely to be heavy or skimp on components to reach the budget.

    I found this out when shopping around with my heart set on a full susser but went for a Scott Scale 50 at just under 1k.
