Just had the mother of all cloudbursts here - just as I popped down the P.O.! Unbelievable amount of rain. Reminder for next time: when there is a cloud on the horizon darker than an emo's kecks, take a coat.

Just missed me - on exam leave so took the chance to go built some trails in the woods - I could see a thunderstorm about 15 miles away though - scary stuff.

Meh - in the local woods, wouldn't call it a downhill as it only lasts about 30 seconds, just lots of little bits here and there. Next are the jumps.

So are exams still on paper these days or do you have to fill in a Word doc etc? Just curious.

Much preferred that to human sciences. My Geo teacher was surprised I didn't do it at uni!

Still plain old paper, however they are marked by computers and some are scanned and then marked by people on computers. - They get all the fun

    When will it stop?!

Decided clearing out the shed wasn't a good idea lol.
  • Thats nout!!
last summer when I was just finishing work the heavens opened... full on.
Got in the car and started driving home, but after about 30 seconds it was complete whiteout and the water was coming back out of the drains onto the street!

had to literally park the car in the middle of the road to stop the water lapping agains the underside.

5 mins later it stopped, sun was out, rainbow not a cloud in the sky.

    That was a freaky day!

BTW, I take it you enjoyed these adverts SS?

Lol, shed is fooked. Garden is flooded!

Vid didn't show it very well: gotta watch storms in chap, this is what happened two years ago:

    chapflood.jpg

3.5 inches of rain in just over two hours!
  •
I've always thought about what i'd do if that happened.
    Do you have a dingy?

Not yet! Luckily am a bit higher up than the areas that got the worst flooding.
