Hi folks,

I was just wondering whether anyone can recommend me some good LBS (price and service) anywhere in London.

Thanks in advance.

Condor for me (and, I guess, most others). Also, Shorter Rochford in North London (two stores). There's a few more I know but that's where my money gets spent.

    NB

Condor are currently undergoing a refurbishment so they're operating from a smaller space - no bikes to gawp at. I was told 5-6 weeks before things are complete.
    Where\'s me jumper?

Condor are a great store and know their stuff......but I havent found a more expensive shop as yet....theyir prices are way way above market norm.....your paying a huge premium for the Chancery lane postcode folks......its aimed at City folk who cant be bothered to shop around and want stuff NOW!

You can find gear much much cheaper elsewhere.

Slightly farther afield but not too bad is Sigma Sport....equally as good and I find more friendly with some awesome stuff on display and very very knowlegdeable again.

Hi, always had excellent service from Cyclos Uno in Hainault, Essex (on the central line), wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Been going to Ciclos Uno for some years. Trevor can get you just about any bike you want, his shop is a real aladdin's cave. Good bloke.

I recommend Prologue in East Sheen. They have a good selection of products and I've always found the guys there helpful and friendly.

Brixton cycles - friendliest bike shop I've ever been to. They're all like one big happy family in there.
  • Second shout out for Brixton Cycles, but also onyourbike on Tooley Street - about 2mins from London Bridge, near Tower Bridge. Good mix of road and MTB, with prices about the same as you find elsewhere but excellent customer service and workshop.

If you have access to central London (EC1) there is none better than Condor. It's an institution, and deservedly so. They are incredibly knowledgable in there and always free with the advice whether you buy anything or not.

I thought on your bike on Tooley street are more interested in taking your money over providing service and advice, Correct me if I'm wrong. I read it in another forum.
