needing some cheap(ish) bib tights to use for Sportives; comfort is a must but don't really want to spend more than £40. Can anyone recommend one of the lines that seem to be cheap at Prendas Cyclismo such as:

I like my DHB's from Wiggle - that's bib shorts, never tried 3/4's. Pretty cheap too.

    These look just the ticket...

  • Those look like good value on that link, last years team kit. Should be good quality.

I have quite a few pairs of Santini 3/4s. Good quality. Won't let you down.

thanks. Santini look good and those DHB's are cheap. Looking for something that will support the 'gentleman's area' as best possible. I get a lot of numbness on long rides and need something that's padded well enough to keep me comfy on 100m + rides.

+ 1 for DHB, i HAVE 3/4s and shorts and get on really well with both, they are a really nice cut for me.

Can't find these on Ribble - only long or short bib's. Could you post the link?

I've got some 3/4 DHB bibs and, while they are great for the price, the padding is perhaps not as good as some - it's quite thin and soft. It's not a problem for me, but if you are looking for something supportive for 100 milers, then you might want to get something more robust.

(Having said that I'd think most of the comfort on long rides should come from having the right saddle rather than the shorts)
