  • Something deep inside of me vaguely remembers the 857. What happens if you want to drop the seat though :wink:

    Easy. Although, you do have to carry round a hacksaw, and once it was lowered, you'd need a new seatpost!

    the proflex 959 doesnt exist, it was a made up name by the `855 heads` to continue the proflex tradition of annually naming the bikes after the year 954, 955, 956, 957, (5500 = "958") and so thus the "959" for the Ultimate OzM.
    ie 858 = 4500 (1998)
    958 = 5500
    859 = OzX (1999)
    959 = OzM
    there were very very few ever stickered up as 959
    who cares?

    I had a 953 in 1994, then a 955 in 1996 and final a 957 in about 1998. I always bought proflexes and was sad to see them disappear when they did. I was also an 855 head :)
