How many parts are there in an Ultegra rear gear?

...counting the ball bearing in the jockey sprocket as one part....
It was severely goosed - the torsion spring in the hanger pivot had really seized, and getting it out ruined it - the spring shown isn't the real one! Quite a few parts had to be "unriveted" or separated by brutal means - so it ain't going back together! What did surprise me was the seals fitted to the parallelogram links.
Fascinating....and I made it 65 parts in total.

It's not much use to you now, but I found that giving my 'seized' Sora rear mech a 30 minute bath in warm engine oil sorted it out beautifully.
Sealed pivot points does seem rather swish - I guess I'll stop running oil down there then, if water's not going to get in then neither's lube!- - - - - - - - - -
