I'd run something like a High Roller/Rampage on the front and an Advantage on the rear for that

I run a High Roller on the front and an Ignitro on the back. A really good combination that works all year round. I have tons of grip on the front and lower rolling resistance at the back which I can slide out if i need to, but it also has good grip.

how are the Rubber Queens going? i am thinking of getting some
i currently run a 2.3 high roller on front and 1.9 Ignitor UST on back
i was thinking of putting the Rubber Queen 2.25 UST on the rear (gotta have UST on back or i snake bite like im sat on a cobra)
Dont look at it-ride it! they are tools not f*cking ornaments

Make sure to have the front maxxis with a stickey compound on the front.

I use a Swamp Thing 42a on the front and a Schwalbe Fat Albert on the rear
    all are 2.35 wide.

I use Schwalbe Nibby Nic on the front and Maxxis High Roller on the back. Works for me in everything but the stickiest of mud.
Everything in moderation ... except beer
Beer in moderation ... is a waste of beer

If riding an XC race bike is like touching the trail,
then riding a rigid singlespeed is like licking it
... or being punched by it, depending on the day
