recommend alps hotels booking september

can anyone advise me whetehr i need to book hotels for 1st week of september? i wonder whether smaller places might be a problem eg lansleborg mont cenis. i'm also looking for somewhere to stay after crossing cormet de roseland and col de saiisies from bourg st maurice. there is a small place "flumet" my 55 year old legs won't be able to go any further after crossing those two.

sorry, ive just been plotting the route and just realised that i would be better doing cormet roseland and stopping in beaufort ,then next day doing cols de saisies and aravis to annecy., thus splitting the height climbed to a bit over 2000 metres each day (roseland and saisies is more than 3000 metres. so any advice re hotel b&b in beaufort appreciated. internet is a bit dodgy there are beaufort hotels all over the world. and one booking site has dodgy software as despite having rhone alpes in the search box, it is offering me hotels in beaufort luxembourg.0
