GT Avalanche 1.0 2009

just got into MTB a few months ago so decided to start off slowly with this little fella, if im still doing it in another 6 months then there shall be an upgrade.
only things i`ve changed are the SDG saddle and M520 pedals

    Hi mate,

    Nice bike :D

    My mates got one and he loves it.

    Must say that white bikes are growing on me, very cool 8) ....
    .....will have to get me a white 'un in a few years.

    just posted in a different thread about my first ride on them this morning, awesome!
    was brickin it for a while but im made up i made the move from flats. i`ve got the tension set loose so its a doddle. i can get a bit more out of the bike now, im eager to hit a proper trail with them now!

    nice bike!! i hve a GT avalanche expert which is built up for commuting and being a spare bike to lend people, but i actually find it mroe fun than my merlin. they are awesome bikes!!
    nice buy! if you're still into it later, upgrade the forks and it'll be pretty much sorted!

    yeh i was thinking of going for modifications inc forks rather than buying new, and maybe going full sus if i buy new, have the best of both worlds then.

    I just noticed that too!! 8)

    kopite1979, turn your quick release levers the other way!!! They should face rearwards, so as you ride along your trails, the can't get snagged by debris, branches etc so easily!

    But nice bike matey, and welcome! Hope you enjoy it as much as well all do!
