im doing the struggle sportive on sunday and yet again its bad weather forecast, shame it wasnt on today saturday. im not liking the idea of being wet for over 60 miles but im still going to give it a go

good luck mate hope its not a horror day ... i have just accepted the fact the weather is cr*p all the time now ...cant believe im still digging out 10,000 items of clothing to go for a ride ...ok not quite 10, 000 but you get the pic ...
im off round Appley Bridge way for a 50 .....just for sheer stupidity of it ....and trying to get ready for the Spud Riley in June and expecting it to be cold , windy and miserable ......today and in june !
and we wonder why cycling is not a major sport in the uk

seen the pics from last years........ not fun ...... it will be a long hard look at the snooze button at 5.30 am if the weather is going to be apocalyptic on the day .....

How do you get on in the Struggle? Thought the weather was great until I got to Scorton and the heavens opened. Last 10 miles were like riding through a river particularly the A6. Found out my waterproof is only showerproof

i also got wet at scorton i did the short route in 5 hrs 5 mins including stops, cat believe it stayed dry for so long, but was still windy, but had a good day0
