Me and the missus are taking a wee ride cross country to drop off surprise presents for my dad's birthday. Ten miles on canal paths, but if the weather is nice, it will be fun. 8)

I assume you guys have got some slightly more athletic things planned?

    Oh yes.

I've got to take a wardrobe out.

    Crazy days.
    FCN 2-4.

    "It stays down, Daddy."
    "Exactly."

I may drag my poor children out on their wheels for a quick spin.

Poor them - parents who are both into cycling.

Never expect your children to be passionate about the same things as you......

I may drag out my mother for a bike ride if the weather's nice tomorrow... better than hefting all the stuff from the loft into the container...

Any good ideas there? Part of our LIGHTNING VISIT as the gf insists on calling it, is to fit semi-slicks to Faither's (actaully my bro's old) mtb.... Also I am going to fit an old pannier rack, and a rack pack that will hold a lock and a wine box. Old lush/.

Actually, any family friendly tips in general would be good. My gf is afraid of lorries and busses. So weak!

My 50 miles before breakfast has just evaporated, it's pissing down in Kent    Still it's a bit of extra duvet time :lol:

Downhilling at Aston Hill on Sunday, which is always interesting in the wet on chalk, clay and tree roots, slippery isn't the word. Hardly good CV work though, broken bones are more the order of the day.

The rest of the weekend will be given over to poker
pain is temporary, the glory of beating your mates to the top of the hill lasts forever.....................

Well... blowing a gale first thing, but it's calmed down now. I need to go buy a bed and paint the kitchen. If it's okay after that I'll go out somewhere (try and get at least 30 miles this time)
