£2000 budget for a light weight full susser race trail bike

I need help been trawling the net and forums for months now looking for a light weight full susser for racing and general trail riding.I have a budget of around £2000. heres a list of a few i have looked at could do with a few reviews from owners of the below bikes .puling my hair out now just dont know what to do :?

tbh id look go for the cube simply because its different and outstanding value for money

i dont know too much but i found a good bargin, its 2008 however, but full carbon down to £2499 from £4500. might be worth a look:

but lapierre do do a lovely short travel frame as well...

I'd look at the 100mm marins, or you might be able to get a spark for 2k just

Indeed they do - the x-control series, The 410 is prob the one to have look at as I think it's the cheapest model to come with the fox shock and fork. Not sure on the price though.

Still a lot of bike. Nearly 6 inches of travel and just under 30lbs in weight - you won't see any other racers on one!

But as a trail bike looks good.

I'd seriously look at the Mongoose I linked to - better spec, more racy a few pounds lighter.
