My favourite mid-morning, refuel snack is a freshly made bacon, sausage and mushroom baguette from our canteen upstairs.
Yum. That was good.David

I saw macaroni pies in the Dumfies tescos, I thought about it but decided it would be a bad idea.Saracen Tenet 3 - 2015 - Dead - Replaced with a Hack Frame

Deee-licious.
Pieminister from Borough? They're fricking amazing. 2 + chips is super piggy though...
Do you two both work near to London Bridge then? If so perhaps an SCR lunch at Borough Market would be in order assuming there are a few of us that could make it?http://www.ledomestiquetours.co.uk

Fenchurch St, so a 10 min walk across the Bridge. Might be going again this Friday with a colleague from work, but could do next week.FCN 2-4.

If you ever find yourselves out in the wilds of Norfolk, say Swaffham way. Make a beeline for the "20 Church wardens" pub, which is in Cockley Cley. All the pies are home made, steak and mushroom, chicken and leek, and many others.
5.5GBP with chips and veg,
Great food and brilliant value.0 -
Mmmmmm subsidised pie for lunch today...
I really want to go to that St Johns place, but most of my friends refuse to eat offal. Fools.0 -

My workload is pretty volatile but as it stands that sounds good.
Is this going to be a "I'll be the guy with the carnation in his jacket button hole by the pie shop" moment......http://www.ledomestiquetours.co.uk

Potentially, yes.
Suggest we meet just in front of the spot where you order takeaway chips from Fish. It's between the two halves of the market. The grounds of Southwark Cathedral is a good place to eat it/them.FCN 2-4.

Only just found this thread, but very close to my heart. We used to get Pie Minister pies from Borough Market on our monthly or so visits there, it was one of the things we seriously missed about London when we moved to Oxford.
So imagine our delight when they opened an actual Pie Minister shop/cafe in the Covered Market here in Oxford - takeaway and sit down, complete with wi-fi (pie-fi?).
Well worth a visit if you're ever up this way.
