I can get the bike i was after because they are all sold out in all of my LBS that stock it

So now I have to wait and hope I like the next 2010 bikes. When do they normally come out?

Thanks

Ellie

Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

Surely if you know what size you want, you can buy from somewhere else?

Don't places have a standard returns policy? I.e. if you don't like it you can return within 14 days. I'm sure Wiggle do/did this?

Wiggles policy for return is really a don't ride and you can return one unless it is one of the Focus or Kirum branded bikes (which they either make themselves or have exclusive deals in the UK) which allows you to fully test the bike for 7 days.

Distance selling regulations only apply where you haven't used the product. You can't use a product then expect to have a right to return it. It only there to protect you from impulse buys where you can't see the product.

Once a bike is used it can't be returned unless it is obviously not fit for purpose, and then it is up to the customer to prove that. If a bike is bought and ridden then the shop has no obligation to allow a return as it is a used product and can't be returned or resold for new price

Plus Trek bikes have to be picked up at a shop. They wont deliver them to a home address.
