I have no idea who I would want in his place, but I wouldn't have the option of voting for that as I'm not a member of the Labour Party

You can start a petition for him to stay......

I'd love to know why you are so keen for him to leave. Is it because he isn't one of the (many) huge offenders in terms of claims recently? Or maybe its becuase he is quite well qualified to lead us out of this economic mess we're in at the moment. Or perhaps it's becuase he's Scottish?

The guy wasn't elected to be PM which means in my book, he shouldn't be, but unfortunaley we don't do "Democracy in the UK as dictated by GavH" so that counts for hee-haw. He hasn't got a personailty worthy of such a lofty position but then that counts for nothing as well - doesn't mean he can't make sound decisions. I get particularly annoyed when he does that 'thing' with his bottom lip between sentences. In fact I get REALLY annoyed at that, but again, doesn't mean he'll try to invade the world and then blame it all on someone else.

Overall, I think he's currently doing a sound job given his circumstances, namely that he is surrounded by vultures who are tuned it to the public dislike of him. If he had the support and loyalty from these 'coleagues' that he should have then I can only imagine he'd do a better job still. Now if you can find me a petition to sack that ginger Blears bint then I'll even teach my dog to write so he can sign it too.

    GavH...

You do know that you never vote for the PM in elections, unless you happen to live in his constituency, right?

GavH. Why not start said petition?

In what way is he qualified to lead us out of the mess he played a large part in creating?

He MAY not have creatively claimed a load of additional money, but he's allowed it to happen and believes saying sorry (for the first time ever) makes it all better.

I'm not desperate for him to go, I just think that he hasn't done a great job in the past and didn't deserve a promotion to Big Brother

He has basically bankrupted this country economy and future generations. People don't really know what is going on. They watch the BBC and read a few newspapers. They don't know what is coming.

re the Hazel Blears comment +1

re the other two he's a fool who stole from the pension companies wasted billions on jobs for the boys, performance leagues, computer systems etc and spent all our reserves when we had the good times, not forgetting selling most of our gold reserves at the lowest price the market has seen in real terms since pre war so we end up in the position we are in as a country, - Broken with out any morals -

so if thats a good job i'd hate to see a bad one
  • Sicrow - vote for a change of Government the next time you get a chance, then you'll see!

Oops, was meaning to sign the mobile phone one
So what happens if he resigns? We get another useless scab in his place, a bit like voting conservative because labour are doing a bad job. Nothing will change unless us regular folk of Britain revolt and actually do something about these jokers who apparently run the country. IMO

where's the petition for no more petitions.

I'm up for something a bit more direct. Who wants to march on parliament and tell the tossers face to face how we feel?

Anyone know how to start a political party??? We could start the BR party.......

Then we can all claim new superbikes on expenses, get a nice house in London with another in the country and get to attend the Tour de France as a political visit and to "support the British contingent"

Lawks, yes. Plus the term "slack-jawed idiot" springs to mind.

I still think of Tony Blair as PM and GB as some sort of stand in. I'd still vote for Tone but now Dave has my vote. This is because Gord lacks any leadership qualities & his policies are reactionary.
