Problem solved! Use a Super tacky Minion on the front and a Maxpro or standard Highroller on the back. (my standard setup)
The Minion super tacky is a bit of a drag but comes into its own on wet rocks. Although it doesn't clear mud well.
If muds an issue then the Highrollers are a better proposition.0 -
but by running different combos wont that mean that my back and front wheel will have different slidding pionts?0

Yes, but as long as the Minion sticks It doesnt really matter whats happenin at the back. However lose the front end and your in a whole heap of sh1t.0

would it slow me down too much if i put high rollers on front and back probaly 2.35" or should i go with two minions or mixed then. what the best for having the speed yet keeping the grip?0

If your worried about drag then go for the 2.35 single skin Highrollers. Standard on the back and a Maxxpro on the front. I'll always try and run a softer compound on the front as a kind of ensurance policy.
Coming from Ignitors you will find the Minions a bit slower, in fact neither the Highrollers or Minions are going to roll as quick as your Ignitors. There's always gonna be a trade off againt grip and rolling resistance.
At the end of the day its whatever suits your riding style. I'm quite happy to take it easy on the ups and hammer it on the downs.0 -
I wouldn't really use a minion unless you're riding is more downhill orientated.0

ok thanks but what about this thing that minions come much smaller than there size says?
should i go for 2.5" if i want i tyre 2.35" big?0 -

Unless you've got wide rims to support them then the 2.5 are overkill and a waste of time. Yes they do come up a bit narrower than other brands but the 2.35 are plenty.
For example a 2.5 on 17mm wide rim is probably only as wide as a 2.35 on a 21mm rim. Plus the fact that the 2.5 is gonna feel wishy washy (technical term) on a narrow rim.0 -
yea ok thank everyone for helping0
