Hi there not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but here goes.

I am planning on selling my Specialized Allez Sport, but with pick-up-only being rather difficult to arrange I wondered if anyone had sold their bike using a courier and if so what was the price/process?

Thanks for any help

Parcelforce 24/48 costs about £25. Get a bike box from a LBS or Halfords etc, disassemble wheels from bike to fit in box, arrange pick-up date/time online. Bike gets collected :)

I sent a bike on Monday, it was 13kg and ParcelForce 48 for me was £21. I just went down to Halfords, got a box, took off the front wheel, bars and pedals, let the air out the tyres, cable tied everything together and they came and collected it that very day (I booked it at lunch time and they were at my house by 3pm). This was a BMX so I just slammed the seat, but you might have to take the seat off.
