I'll be ready...with all electonic appliances turned off and in bed. Thanks for the heads up.

I saw them in 1980 twice, neither time on purpose as I just happened to be there, I may listen tonight but I am not expecting enlightenment this time either.

It just sounds like Father Ted's voice-over to the '3 Ages Of Elvis' in the Craggy Island Talent Competition to me...

I didn't forget and it was forgettable , The whole thing was heavily padded out with sound affects and The King himshelf so it was not a poem at all, just the oddusual Bononic drivel.
Apparently he is aware of how boring he is and believes that this influence helps him.

    Actually I didn't forget either.

What I want to know is what made the BBC think this was something that should be broadcast on a serious national radio network.

And why has Bono suddenly decided to write some boring bollox about Elvis anyway? I mean we all know about Elvis. does Bono really think he has something new and interetsing to say on this man? What's his next opus going to be called? The Beatles?

Time something was done about Bono. I'm fed up with seeing his stupid face and facile comments on every music documentary I watch. Does every Bono fart have to be broadcast, commented on in hush tones, disected and interpreted by intellectual Radio four listeners who should really know better?

Now I want to know what The Edge thinks about Bo Diddly and then my life will be complete.
  • Bono is actually Jesus.
Everything he says contributes to the Human race.

I agree. Last summer we had Make Poverty History, so this summer, lets Make Bono History! And Geldof too.
