specialized stumpjumper expert carbon htail or scott scale20

Help me please, was going to buy a scott scale 20 to do some racing when a friend of mine advised me to go for a specialized htail stumpjumper expert carbon frame 09, any one got any advice,thanks. Friend says there is better components on spesh.

    Check the specs on the manufacturers website to get an idea of the differences. What's your budget also and which do you like the look of? :-)

    Personally, I'd go for the Stumpy, but then I'm biased :-D

    I looked at these two and the specialized does have better components, but, everyone has a specialized.

    I think the scotts are way to expensive this year and don't like the paint jobs.

    Having said that I still haven't bought a carbon hardtail, been looking for 6 months, going to wait for the 2010 bikes, not that long now.

    Give the cannondales a look, really nice frames.

    Luckily budget is around £2300 so both bikes are in or around same price, but was looking at spec and spesh looks better!!

    well it tells you that specialized, are not that special :-)


    but v good value for money

    Very true on the good value for money. Wouldn't have bought 4 otherwise ;-) Still want more though, that's the problem :roll:
