You can PM me or my email id is my forum id name at yahoo dot com.

from here http://www.sportcommunication.info/GT/faq.php the medical form is linked as
http://www.la-marmotte.info/GT/certificatgb.pdf but get a broken link.

and from here http://www.sportcommunication.info/GT/i ... p?langue=1 linked as
http://www.sportcommunication.info/GT/i ... icatgb.pdf but get a broken link too.

Thanks
Tom.

Google has cached an HTML copy here, looks like a very simple document that you could replicate?

In 5 times doing the Marmotte, nobody has ever checked my medical form, I even went to the trouble of getting examined by my doctor the first tiem around. Just so you know.

We're doing another one of the Grand Trophee series 'La Morzine Valllee d'Aulps'.

I emailed to ask if a Etape medical sign-off would be valid. They replied saying any Grand Trophee medical form is valid, but I don't think the Etape is a GT event?

In the end I think we'll copy the details over and argue the toss on the day. It's France after all, I doubt anything really has rules.

I've only done it once, and they checked my form.

I believe if you don't have the form you can still enter - but as a randonneur - and thus get no official time.

I'd say they'll have a look at mine.. I'm haven't exactly the most svelte figure. My aim is to get around the course and as my hotel is at the top of the Alpe, so there's an incentive to finish. I suspect I'll be pretty well to the back at the start gate so shouldn't be causing too much of a log jam on Glandon for those who are after good times/golds etc.

I just sent copy of my racing license and was ok.

Which may explain why they've never checked mine.... Hemhemhem

A BC racing licence is usually enough and I've only been asked for a medical certificate once. I just said that I had posted a copy to them with my entry and they excepted this without question?

I think you do get an official time it's just not made public; you go in as "anonyme cyclotouriste" in the results, the only time I rode it I entered as a proper sportive rider but my form never turned up (was probably never even completed; that's my brother for you) and so I got lost in the results as it confuzzed the pooter...

but I know I rode it so who cares?

I've got one that Cyclomundo e-mailed me in pdf format. It has their name and address at the bottom of the pages but I could send it if you like.
I\'m sure I had one of those here somewhere

I've got one sitting on my desk. All it asks for is a doctor to sign the following statement:

I undersigned doctor:___ certify having examined Mr., Mrs., Miss:___ and find him capable of participating in competitive cycling.

The last time I got signed by the company doctor he asked if I trained and whether I took performance enhancing drugs. I wasn't quick enough as I should have said, not for cycling. If he'd seen me training, he wouldn't have bothered asking the second question.

I've an appointment on Tuesday to get this one signed.

Does the form have to be sent in advance or presented at signing on? I haven't received any info since the confirmation of my entry but I'm assuming this is normal at the moment?

Either bwill Do. Scan & email is best. Once processed they update details on the website.
