Cyclocross tyres

Hello All,

I currently have 32x700 cyclocross tyres which came with the bike. However, living where I do I don't ride off road at all and was wondering about swapping to a narrower tyre such as a 28mm. My questions are:

1. Will a 28 fit comfortably on a wheel designed to take a 32mm?

and...

2. If so, which would be a good tyre to look for? Puncture resistance is more important than lower rolling resistance as anything will be slicker than what I'm on at present.

Cheers,
Steve

A GP4 Season comes in a 28mm and is pretty tough for a faster road tyre. For something more durable look at the Schwalbe Marathon range - you'll have no problems fitting them to your rims
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

My Tricross came with 32mm tyres, I've swapped them for 25mm Schwalbe Marathon Plus for commuting. No problems. Less comfortable though.

    Cheers Carlos,
I have a Tricross as well. I'm fond of my comfort though... :? :)
