Hi Im new to the forum, have been reading your threads and have dragged an old knackered bike out the shed and started riding again. I then decided i liked the idea of building my own bike so have managed to get a cheap 2007 malt 1 frame, and want to now start shopping for other bits. As the frame has not turned up yet and im eager, does anyone know the size of the seatpost and the bottom bracket as so i can have these ready for when the frame turns up?

Cheers for any help

Not sure of the seatpost, but you can google it, or look it up on Merlin's own website.

I'm pretty sure your bottom bracket will be 68mm (diameter) x 113mm (axle length). But again, you could always check Merlin's site for details.

If I'm wrong, someone will speedily correct me!

    68mm length of the shell.

axle depends on cranks but if HT2 it does not matter.

Mail Merlin. also the year of the frame may mean differences.
