Sorry i missed yer took me ages to push up my bike i checked me phone and was alread 10 past 5 so by time i got to near vis center too late so i continued to push up to other area where i have created a little DH run to train on. Hope had good time i didnt really my cranks are creaking and there bloody new so have to have look now im back also i crashed too nto bad but have sprained one wrist and the side of my hand and some slight scrapes shame as had good few runs i just decided to take this other one with a little drop on it and landed awkward and braked in time ( hurrah for Hyd brakes ) but still went into the tree LOL.[/quote]

Don't know how we missed each other, i was there at 5 & road round for 15mins or so, saw a few guys on bikes, said hi. Saw a guy with a full face lid but he was with another younger guy.
Sounds like u had a pain full & frustrating session - was the tree ok????
Tomorrow will be relaxing, if my mate can get to me instead, shadow says going at slowest person pace!!!!! Hope i'm not embarrasingly slow!

Na you wont be slow i have a hardtail like i said but not exactly Xc bike light yes but more freeride based but can do trails and ill be at what ever pace suits you so yep be great come out tomm and you me and Shadow can have blast etc be great fun show youthe canal etc which is not far here.

Shadow did you say you live in Blackwell??? cool let us know where to meet then and time wise and Monster i could meet you ere in Brom and then meet up with Shadow depending where starting and if all can make it...


i come up the main road along lickys from Blackwell to Lickey end way long road loads big posh house aong it that way up.
i didnt go to visitor center as thought by time got there thought you would allready gone sorry my fault my crank was playing up on way so delayed me little more than normal.

PS the trees not hurt luckly hehe i have to take it little easy though.

it might be best to meet at the visitors centre at 10am at the front of the shop, is that ok for every one? it will mean we have a bit of road to start, i will try and keep road riding to a minimum

Yeah def gimme couple days to resst my hands as got both bones oin my hands sprained or what ever done as crashed into tree :oops: yesterday when out DHing so couldnt sleep like said its not too bad now but rather rest it couple days, so if up for local ride again depending on your work hrs im game any time day or eve for ride so dont have to ride alone Silent im getting bored riding on me own aswell and be nice if can show me some bridleways etc post when availible and see ya soon oh and you too Monster

Had a fab time, xx, the route was great, bit of everything, glad my fitness wasn't too bad, really lookin forward to the next one, let me know which evening u're free. Don't get home till 6.30 though. xx

hi all, might be able to do a ride on wed eve, cant really do any other time as i got to clean and set up my bike ready for my adventure to the lakes
any one got any ideas on where to ride or some sort of route?

Well depends really how long of a ride and what you already done di you go down the canal and do you mind doing some back lanes too with bit off dust track (farm track) i know route locally which i go about can add things in too.
So we could start where you live head up to (yes) Lickeys agian head down to the Canals or Barnt Green along some back country lanes or canal which ever head towards some country tracks lanes i know off. Has to be tommorrow eve or Thurs eve though or Fri and i will def be out now, already gagging to be out on bike again and me wrists are fine.
That ok with you Monster if want come out.

eh yeah i come up the steep hill upto theand by the church and by the shop on left and i turn left along by the school and park then right and up Linhurst road up to Twatling road (haha like the name of the road) thats way i go up not sure which way you go that way or Barnt Green way, any way im DEF coming this time so wait up and see ya all at V centre.
