Should I Twitter?

Nothing really to do with cycling this.
It seems the future of business networking is being driven by web blogs and social networking sites. Sites like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
I spend enough time on the web as it is, but apparently, by using Twitter and software like Wordpress, I can keep my network of friends and business associates better informed and stay better connected.
So Twitter - just another flippin site to tell everyone what you are having for tea . . . . or a worthy business tool?

No.
I went and got it because I update my Facebook status every ten minutes, but it just annoyed me. :evil:0 -

Would one say: 'I twitted' or 'I tw@t'?
If it's the latter, it is indeed a worthy business tool.A fanatic is one who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject - Churchill0 -
I think twitter is great.
But you have to be careful who you are following. Boring people are no fun on twitter.
You can also get twitter to update your facebook status, and there are much better mobile apps for updating twitter.
However, as a business tool... no. I use a twitter gadget on my vista sidebar and if I got anything other than humerous/interesting comments i'd remove them.http://www.KOWONO.com - Design-Led home furniture and accessories.0 -
Looks like there's no point.
There doesn't seem to be much praise for it & haven't had anyone mention that they use it in business.Stumpjumper FSR 09/10 Pro Carbon, Genesis Vapour CX20 ('17)Carbon, Rose Xeon CW3000 '14, Raleigh R50

I find it interesting in so far as following a lot of pro cyclists on there.... Cadel Evans, Robbie McEwan, Wegelius, Mick Rogers, Leipheimer, Allan Davis, Ivan Basso etc etc... and of course LA is interesting0

I've only recently added some of the cyclists, it's especially interesting hearing them talking about the Giro in between stages. LA tightening up his handlebars mid-race with an allen key :shock:http://www.KOWONO.com - Design-Led home furniture and accessories.0
