collingbourne woods is the best place i have found in the area, and its the only local place the lbs's seem to recommend as well. i'm happy to meet up with ya some time and show you around a couple of the trails.

i'm still hoping someone else crops up with some super route tho lol

New Forest - believe it or not there's lots of singletrack and some nice technical bits if you know where to look!

We ride there every Wednesday night from near Fordingbridge. PM me if you would like details :D

you can park up near most entrances to the woods. the best is probably the entrance near a farm out the back of ludgershall. theres a good trail running straight off the track at that entrance. other than thats its a case of exploring and trying new bits out. or like i say, i'll happily show you around.

I tend to find myself in Grovely Woods quite a lot. There's also some nice single track around the top end of Wilton Estate.

I used to live in Bulford not far from Collingbourne Woods. There's a fair bit of singletrack over there, but it suffers in the wet. I had heard that a lot of it had been trashed too.

Cranbourne Chase may be worth a looksie too. Not ridden there personally, but it is meant to be very good. You should pop in to Off Camber cycling in Blandford, they'll point you in the right direction.

Also, not sure if it's your scene, but there are a few DH, FR runs at Okeford hill near Blandford. They may even run uplifts there these days.

Another place that may be worth checking out is the woods near to Mere, just off the A303. I don't know if there are any trails there, but they 'appear' to have a fair bit of potential.

Finally, google Dorset Rough Riders and SPAM biking, they will know about most of the trail riding to the South of Salisbury, and anything and everything around the Salisbury Plain area.
