Spoon Cro-Mo vs Knife

I'm torn between these two. My priority is comfort as the weight of the two don't differ that much. How much different are they dimensionally?

Don't know about the knife, but I have a couple of Charge Spoons and they're very comfy

The Knife is the road version of the Spoon - flatter, stiffer, lighter etc.

The Spoon is a very comfortable saddle but when other saddles are just broken in, the Spoon is past its best. The rails start to sag and the base flexes too much but for £20 what can you expect. The grey Spoon with white rails looks very good.

Spoons great, but as mentioned above it has a limited life. The knife is more xc race\road version of the sppo, same general shapr just slimmed down

Yeah, the Knife's not made as a road saddle, though it'd do fine for that, it's just a light XC saddle. And very good! It's less shaped and much less padded than the Spoon, I have both, but I don't find it much less comfy. The ti rails seem to give it a bit more shock absorption and the minimal padding is enough to avoid being uncomfortable, though it's no sofa. I think I slightly prefer the Spoon, on balance, for its larger seat and slightly better comfort but they're both great saddles.

I've had no issues with the Spoon wearing, but it hasn't done huge miles. The Knife's done a decent distance and also had a really nasty hard flip land right on it in rocks, it's scraped but it survived well, not a hint of bend in the rails. Impressive stuff I thought. No rips, just scuffs.
