Maxlight XC2 Owners - Rack Mounts?

I'm looking for a new hardtail frame, has to have v-bosses as well as disc mounts. Luckily the Maxlight XC2 has both, and reviews very well too.

But one last thing I need to be able to do, is put a rear rack on, it has to be a 'proper' rack, seatpost mount isn't an option.

It looks (from this image on CRC: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Imag ... 8458-3.Jpg), that the dropout area is drilled and threaded. Can someone confirm that though?

Ta :-)

i dont think so look at the top of the seat stays. No mounting eyes.

you are on about the K-UK Maxlight Easton XC 2
unless you plan to use the "mud guard" mount?

if it had rack mounts i would expect proper mounts on the seat stays and the frame not to be Easton tubed.

Shoulda made myself clearer, I plan to (and currently use) p-clips on the seatstays at the top end. It's the holes at the dropouts I want to confirm are actually what I think they are. I'm hoping they're M4 threaded.

i think you should be able to use them with out a disc brake unless you have a disc specific rack.

I would drop Kinesis a mail

I have done already, CRC also, no reply yet from either so I thought I'd widen my net a little further.
