Would ex road racing and training bikes be worth buying?

Hello all,
I am looking for a used Pinarello Prince, Cervello S1, R3, RS, Colnago C50 or a similar bike in excellent condition. I have been offered a 2008 Pinarello Prince Carbon frame with handlebars, seatpost and Most crankset that I am told has done 2 races. It's qot quite a few scratches and scuffs on it which do kind of put me off it as I like my things to be mint. There is a big scuff on the frame where the wheel attaches to the bike at the rear which was done when the bike had a puncture in a race. It looks solid though.
There's also a 15 month old Pinarello F3.13 bike that's been used as the sellers trainer that I'm told has done about 8000 miles with Campag Chorus derailers, shifters and brakes, Most crankset and Campag Neutron wheels. It's quite tatty with quite a few scratches but passable and has new head race bearings.
My question is will this bikes be knackered or will they have plenty of life left in them or would they only be worth buying if very cheap or not at all? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Do they fit you ?
Depends on the price really - and if there is some damage there (prob unlikely) then you'd be stuffed.
Personally I'd rather have a lesser name bike that fits me than a bling bike that doesnt.0 -

Thanks for your reply. They do fit. I am 5' 11" and they are size 55. The Prince has quite a big chunk of paint out of the spaces where the rear wheel fits and slots in. The carbon doesn't look damaged though but not pretty. Other minor but noticable scratches around the frame and forks too.0
