Today I went into Evans to buy sun glasses as I was fed up with all the crap in my eyes.

However, I came out with a pair of Specialized cleats and Shamino pedals !

Cannot believe it, I am nearly turning into a cyclist

    :D

It's all part of the evolution of the species.

Good idea. The guff in my eyes was awful, so I'm considering putting the wrap-arounds on this morning to keep it out.

Go in again and you will come out with a Bianchi road bike, full team kit and a little cotton hat.....!

Worst still you could become evil; go into Evans and come out fixed!

If you stand too close to a fixed gear bike whilst oiling the chain...

    Blimey it is weird !

I think this could take some practice.

As I am sure you are aware, when coming to stop the natural reaction is just to lift your foot off, not twist it out !

I definately feel more like part of the bike.

Just be careful if you notice yourself leaning against a wall on one leg, the change will be happening....

all the technical details are contained in The Third Policeman by Flann O'Brien
