POLAR IR USB stick

im not too computer technical so :arrow:

do i need to pay £30something for polars IR USB stick which ive read is not all that good....

or can i just buy a £3 job off ebay...

is there anything special i need to look for / make sure i get so it all works??
(its for a s610i)

    I've answered this elsewhere but here goes again...

    You DO NOT need the Polar one.

    However, certain IrDA dongles contain chipsets which do not synch with Polar devices. I *think* some of the Belkin ones are problematic or it may be the other way around. Spend a bit of time googling it because although buying the £3 cheapy off ebay will save you the best part of £30, it might not work at all because it has the wrong chipset in it.
