Hi everyone
Not every ride you do has to be mega hard and if you live anywhere near St Albans in Hertfordshire there's a great event on 21st of June called Ride4aReason. Visit http://www.ride4areason.org.uk for more details and an entry form.
There are 4 routes to choose from: 25, 33, 44 and 64 miles. All the routes are fully signed so you can’t get lost and take you through some of the quietest and leafiest lanes in Hertfordshire. There are checkpoints en route with food and drink to refresh yourself.
After the ride, at the HQ you can relax with a free massage, take a shower and sit and chat with your friends over a tea and cake. There is also ample parking if you’re coming from further afield.
Have you brought your partner a bike in the hope of getting him or her into cycling? Then Ride4aReason might be just the event to convince them. Ride4aReason is a friendly event for all abilities (although the 64-mile route is not a push over) so why not give it a try?
Only £7 to enter or £4 if you're under 18. Young riders from 12 are welcome provided they are accompanied by an adult. Ride4aReason is not a for profit event but to promote cycling.
Whatever you're doing on the 21st of June - have a great day.
