Hi,

That's it really. I'm just looking for some like-minded people to wander around the NE with. I'm not a serious cyclist, I was just looking for some company when I'm on the bike.

    The British Cycling Federation has a list of clubs on their website here: http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/web/si ... Finder.asp. Most clubs are registered with them.

    Many clubs have a regular club run that are aimed at cyclists with varying levels of ability or interests such as racing, touring and social rides. It is also a good idea to ask at your LBS. If they are any good they will know the local clubs and may be able to recommend one that suits your needs.
