Travelling up to Pitlochry for the Etape Caledonia on Thursday morning, so could do with some suggestions from any locals for two or three 2/3hr rides.
Thanks.

A couple of suggestions:
1) Aberfeldy, Lawers, Glen Lyon - the Ben Lawers climb and Glen Lyon are a must do.
2) Pitlochry, Bridge of Cally, Dunkeld, Logierait - watch out for the farm track and river crossing at Logierait otherwise you'll add on a good few miles!
3) Aberfeldy, Amulree, Kenmore - two stonking climbs, again not to be missed!
I reckon that plus the Etape route will show the best that Highland Perthshire has to offer. The weather forecast looks good too! Enjoy.0 -
Kinloch-Rannoch-Schiehallion-from-PitlochryThis is a nice wee route. I don't know the route of the etape, so it might be a part of it.
There's some great cycling, and great scenery (in both senses), over there in Perthshire and Angus.A fanatic is one who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject - Churchill0
