Replacing stolen bike

Hi guys
Just had my 08 Cube Acid nicked out of my shed and will be needing to replace it soon.
I just need something for commuting as I have a Fuel EX8 too for trails and off road so dont need front sus.
was thinking of a hybrid/commuter/fitness type.
Budget up to £600
I have looked at a Giant FCR and Boardman hybrid team
Anyone got any advice on what i coud get??
