Not impressed.

It's a painful one too!

Can't walk properly with it.

Turns out all the local shops which sell Verruca stuff are closed today, so i'll have to do it tomorrow.

I'm thinking using that Bazzuka verruca bollocks and a waterproof plaster over the top?

Ouch! You might give an application of Tea Tree oil (if you have some) a go if you can't get mainstream medication until Monday. Whatever you do keep the affected area dry and don't attempt to scrape the affected skin away as this may cause further infection. Can you not get any ring-shaped plasters to relieve the pressure? Don't be too hard on your room mate, you could have picked up the virus in another shower or swimming pool as it is a very common strain.

He showed me about 2 and a half weeks ago that he'd got them...

    Cheers for the advice.

What are these round plaster things? Do they relieve the pressure?

Don't bother with the extra strength bazooka it's cack. I had an uber veruca for about 3 years couldn't get rid of it. But switched to normal bazooka and it was gone in a few weeks.

    Gross topic btw :?

Ask your flatmate to do something nice by way of compensation.

I suggest a good leg rub after your next ride. But check his hands first - if they're warty, I wouldn't bother.

Come on. Lets have some homemade remedies on how to get rid of warts and verrucas. I've just been told I've got to see the doctor to confirm my wart is a wart before I can even book into the wart surgery to have it blasted off with supercoldness.

I had a look on youtube and there was some lengthy processes involving vinegar and nail polish but there's got to be a quicker way!?

    A-10 WARThog - extremely effective.

Unfortunately gets rid of a lot of the surrounding tissue too.

An old remedy is to rub the infected area with a cut potato. Bury the potato and when the potato rots the infection will dissapear. :)

ps. i tried this with an x girlfriend and it nearly worked. :o

Depending on how big it is, and where it is...

get some razor blades from boots and sit down and cut it off. Will need to get all the thing out so need to be quite accurate to avoid bleeding. Will likely be a bit easier if you heat the area first by taking a hot shower / bath. Also maybe not the best method if you stand on that area...

Nip into your local university's physics/chemistry labs, find out where they're keeping the liquid nitrogen, freeze it off. Same method they do at the doctors. ;)

Liquid nitrogen works wonders if you can get it...... If not then I hae a more home made way that any one should beable to do.

Metal rod ( or a bolt) about the size of the wart or veruca.
place the rod on the wart or veruca.

use an air duster on a section of the bolt about 1 CM off the skin.
Keep blasting away till the wart or veruca if all frozen. (20-30 sec will do)

Please note all aparatus involved will be getting cold and will need insulating form the skin apart from the bolt touching the veruca

note 2 this will be painful.....but it works.

Hmmm, think I would defer to the GP and get it done properly...

Step ahead of you guys. You're clearly not in the verruca removing game. I've got a DIY freeze your verruca kit (from boots!). It's hilarious...

Might be worth buying just for sh!ts and giggles.
