Okay - So it is here:

IMG_11371.jpg

Question is - What do I do with it.

I have:
Carbon Fork
Seatpost
Stem
108BB + Chainset (Perfect for Fixed or 9 speed only)

For fixed I would just need track wheels. For geared I would need a full groupset (excluding front mech and shifter).

What do I do?!?!? I am all a tizz!

Mine's not even been dispatched yet. I'm getting rather impatient now...

GTV - Take it out for drinks on Tuesday, somewhere like MudDock, it can chat with my new toy.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Mine not even shipped yet and I'm not a happy bunny I wanted to use it on Monday however when it does arrive it'll be fitted with black carbon forks, a token ceramic BB <90g & headset oh yes! full aero bars with dura ace 10 speed shifters/cables on the bar ends and cane creek brake levers and for now my 105 double crankset and my Bontrager race wheelset with Conti supersonic tyres with super light tubes  no doubt more visits from the PF

    I still need

    Carbon seat post
    Spesh toupe saddle
    pedals of some form
bar tape most likely spesh roubaix

Where is my fecking frame grrrr

I may have to go fixed until I can spare some dollars for a groupset of decent quality - Refurbing an old house has so far cost me:

    1, Alfa Romeo GTV Lusso
2, Cervelo P3 Dura Ace TT Bike
3, Ducati 996 SPS (Ohlins spec)

Will I ever own any boys toy again? :-(

105 will be fine however fixed is also good so long as your not planning any big hills of frequent stop starts.

BTW why didn't you come along today on the social ride, twaz a laff especially blasting down Cheddar Gorge in the 30s :D  not so much fun going up :( :?

Yeah - I was a bit upset about not making it - sent Att a mail on FB. Got stuck rowing timing at 7am....then got reprimanded to go to Oxford with "friends".....Damnit!

Have to do rowing timing again tomorrow morning from 6am!

I think I will go fixed for now - cheap option! I have aTT in North Glouces on Weds 20th.....Will use road bike.

Looking forward to it - want to do the "10" in 25 mins or less......anything more and I will be most put out.....!

    :-)

56cm - I am 5ft 11in tall - seems about right when I put my road wheels in it!

Hmm - Navigator Track wheels, FSA Orbit Headset, Ritchey prologue Lo Pro bar, Tiagra Brake caliper.....Happy Bank Manager and I can still afford the floor sanding!!! :-)

gtv's bike spending is the reason why a certain mobile phone provider's prices aren't the cheapest around. If you use the network, you're paying for bike bits, when the next bill comes in offer to buy some carbon bling

Well, would you rather pay for Sir Christopher Gents £13M pension when he left a rival provider £22 billion in the red (600 redundancies) or my £14 Ritchey headset?

Execs; you gotta laugh at them - payed for absolute/complete failure and then put on government quangos' to consult on this countries greatest institution: The NHS. And we wonder why things are wrong?!

Ooops - bit of late night, drunken politics there!

I cycle right past that guy's house every morning. He hasn't got double glazing, so he needs that pension to heat the place.

You can get grants now for a new efficient boiler and more insulation - put one of those government leaflets through his door.....

Poor fella, I know what it's like with gas bills - my winter bill was £500.....
