Advice for sole rider at Cwmcarn.....

Have not ridden there for while and had my first big off in a while last weekend and I feel ready to go on the bike this weekend.
However, my good lady is worried as I mashed the face up and need to remind her it is why we ride and let her know as a sole rider all will be well. I am not a mentalist, just a trail rider and was wondering what Cwmcarn is like now?
Nothing to heavy, I dont mind it, though I feel a little more stressed than norman due to last weeks prang.
Pete.

Fully doable, bit more rooty and slightly bigger holes than last time but definitely an XC route if a bit technical in places. From a solo rider point of view it's fairly safe, there are usually other riders coming up behind even if you don't see them normally. And the forest drive is usually fairly close to the route so if you do crash you should be able to drag yourself back to the tarmac.
If you really want to reassure your other half get her to drive the Forest drive, a bit costly but if it gets you out riding. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0
