What size of this would a 5 foot 7 woman need?

I see there's only 44cm or 49 left!

Cheers!

Depends how long your legs are - go and try it, you're in the right place!
    (Or phone them and ask)

Sorry not trying to be a smart@rse, but I don't think that's answerable from just your height. What's your inside leg length? Would give a better indication, but still just an indication.

Depends how leggy this 5'7'' woman is!

As a 5'7 woman myself, I'd definitely go for the 49cm - I ride a 53.5cm effective top tube frame.

They way I've seen it, virtual top tube sizes are more important to a bike fit than the length of the seat tube. Ultimately though, you'll have to sit on the thing and see if it's various tube sizes suit your body or not. A frame size probably will, but you can't tell which one just by looking at the seat tube length any more.

Erm... I'd presumed teh sizes given were top tube not seat tube....

I would say she had stumpy legs, but I tend to get punched.

Anyway it already bought now! The 49cm size. Seems like quite a nice bike, esp half price. 8)

Should I smarten it up with blue tyres?

Feck. This is the perfect bike for my GF but
    a) I'm not what size - she has a 29" (actual) inside leg and is about 5-3 or 5-4. Any ideas?
    b) My bank account is £20 short (payday is next Friday)

i'd love to give an answer, but your avatar has hypnotised me......

no, seriously, every time you post I stare at it for about 5 minutes......

does it dance both clockwise and anti-clockwise at different times, or am I experiencing some kind of gestalt switch?

he is doing both. the larger movement is anti-clockwise and the movement he is making with himself is clockwise.

yeah, your right, he's doing a large anti clockwise loop as seen from above, with a kind of internal clockwise loop...

    ...but i kept staring and.......

if you look hard enough, you can get the gestalt switch

    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... bility.svg

in which case the avatar describes a clockwise loop as seen from above, where the avatar does not spin on own axis, but is facing outwards

Edin bikes do a 0% finance thing, though generally for more expensive bike. Phone them up and ask them though! They may hold one back for you if your definately going to buy it, and give them a decent deposit.
