Carbon wheels

Having got some bomb proof handmades last year I'm now looking at carbon wheels for this year for those days when everything feels good and I just want to go fast.
I've been looking at HED jet's here http://www.labicicleta.co.uk/hed-jet-5- ... t-i94.html
And some Fast Forwards here http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=31930 and here http://www.probikekit.com/display.php?code=W0019
As I'm 92kg I want at least 20 x 24 spokes, which rules out things like Dura Ace and Cosmic Carbones.
All thoughts welcome - I'd even accept 'why do you want to buy carbon wheels?' if you've got a good reason.

Have a look at www.wheelsmith.co.uk
He can build anything you want on Gigantex carbon rims (various profiles) - however they aren't clinchers.Expertly coached by http://www.vitessecyclecoaching.co.uk/

At your weight, I wouldn't recommend an all-carbon clincher rim - one puncture, crunch and your rim is toast. If you insist on clinchers, then the JETs might be ideal - alloy rim with a carbon fairing, and the same construction as Mavic Cosmic Carbones. If you want to ride all carbon rims, stick to tubs - but they're not bombproof.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

I'm 90 and on Campag Boras and they are superb, second hand and 3 or 4 years old and only 1 puncture, first race and I was very annoyed but they came up trumps within a forthnight.0

You've gotta go with tubs: they're nothing like as hard to live with these days: tufo tape and anti-puncture fillers make life a lot easier than it used to be, and aside from tubeless, you'll get the best ride from tubulars...
As for weight, well, I am 90kg myself, and I plan to be riding Fulcrum Racing Speed rims this year!
deejHe's more machine now than man. Twisted and evil...0
